Described as the perfect choice for those users looking to make the most of their work and personal lives, the BlackBerry Pearl 8110 has been positioned by RIM as the handset most likely to help bridge the gap between business and private life.
Synonymous with the BlackBerry range, the elegant black Pearl 8110 comes equipped with rich multimedia features including an advanced media player and enhanced desktop software enabling users to quickly and easily manage music, pictures and video files between the handset and a connected PC system.
“[The] BlackBerry Pearl 8110 smartphone is an extraordinary lifestyle tool that makes it easier for business professionals and consumers on the move to make calls, email, surf the net, take and send photographs, listen to music, watch and record videos and access their organiser as well as a range of business and leisure applications for both work and play,” outlines RIM.
Hong Kong-based users will also benefit from the BlackBerry Internet Service, which opens users to up to 10 supported work or personal e-mail accounts (which includes the most popular ISP e-mail locations), along with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server for push access to e-mail and other apps as well as enhanced security and IT administration through IBM Lotus Domino, Microsoft Exchange, and Novell Group Wise environments.
The Pearl 8110 also comes complete with onboard GPS, BlackBerry Maps, a 2.0 mega pixel camera (with enhanced flash and 5x digital zoom) and out-of-the-box support for a wide variety of third-party location-based applications and services -- including Google Maps.
Other features of note include Voice Activated Dialling, speakerphone, MMS, an externally accessible microSD/SDHC memory card slot for expanded memory (64MB internal), Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, and support for BlackBerry Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, and Google Talk.
Running on the 3 network, the stylish BlackBerry Pearl 8110 smartphone is available now on the Hong Kong market.
