Welcome to day five, the final day of the RSA conference in San Francisco. The expo area wrapped yesterday, and today most of those left over are here to see Al Gore talk. Sadly, some of them are trapped waiting for flights out of the city thanks to American Air.

Walking around the expo floor, the feeling is that this is Monday all over again. The thinning crowds are milling about talking to collogues and friends met during the show.
I have added a few more images to show some examples.
The Al Gore address is still the major topic, and from conversations with some of the people still here, it is supposed to be a decent keynote on green technology.
The micro mouse with the branded RSA logo was a huge seller this year. The cost was about $15.
The book store is where I got some flight reading material. If you have not read it, No Tech Hacking by Johnny Long is an awesome book.' 10:30AM PST
The week is over, walking around the floor there are a few hundred attendees still here and more expected later. There is a service in the upper lobby that is taking bags for early check-in at the airport, so most of the people are here dropping things off.
Earlier this week I mentioned that the over all theme was encryption of data, and privacy. Along with that, after meeting more and more people and talking to countless booths, the other item added to that list is reputation management.
I have a few meetings to attend later this morning. While I am meeting with some last minute appointments the rest of the conference will be waiting for the final keynote of the week, Al Gore.
As you can see, the odds of me being able to give you blow by blow account of big green Al's talk is low.
Bio-tokens for everyone:
Yesterday, I mentioned a talk I had with UPEK. I was able to take a look at, and even get a free copy of, Eikon, the new finger reader UPEK is offering. I will speak with the company more next week, but I wanted to show you their "bio-token" as a teaser as to what I will write about.
UPEK is a company you might not know name wise, but odds are you know their technology. If you are on a laptop reading this, look down. If you have one of those cool finger readers, UPEK technology powers it. (ThinkPad users, for example, use UPEK.)
Codebreakers Bash, the final RSA party was ok. Everyone who was still in town attended. The area with the game Rock Band was probably the most popular area at the party.
