This application uses Microsoft Dot NET Framework... and there are a few things everyone ought to know about it:
1) XobniService.exe connects back to their servers every time you open Outlook once installed.
2) At this time Xobni is NOT supported on XP Service Pack 3, due to some initial issues that Xobni experienced.
You should stick with XP Service Pack 2 until we announce support for Service Pack 3.
3) After installing Xobni, my Blackberry / TiVo / Smartphone stops syncing. Xobni is still investigating this to try and understand how Xobni is causing these services to stop functioning properly.
4) Currently, there are issues with using Microsoft Office Communicator and Xobni within Outlook.
5) Xobni have found that running Xobni and Business Contact Manager in Outlook can cause instability, specifically with your Outlook OST files too.
This BETA release shouldn't be used on production PC clients, unless you're willing to evaluate the software only.
