"We went over the launch pad to take a quick look. It's great to see the vehicle at the pad," said Commander Mark Kelly.
Impressed by Florida's fine weather, Mission Specialist Ron Garan said to reporters from the tarmac, "We just need to have this same weather when we launch on the 31st of May."
The mission will include the delivery of the next section of the Japanese "Kibo" space lab and its robotic arm system, which Hoshide said he was, "looking forward to seeing...in the payload bay."
The Discovery space shuttle was rolled out to the launch pad on May 3.
