Reading this article felt like reading a posting by an internet troll. I mean really... 'loosing' vs losing? Anyway, the survey clearly has very little to do with Wii Fit, I'm not quite sure why the author is so bent on bringing it up. The survey was for ALL in house exercise, not just the Wii Fit. And considering the Wii Fit has only been available for a couple months, it could only be a responsible for a very limited fraction of total yearly damage due to a limited time frame. That is if it is responsible for any injuries at all: the author cites the injuries caused by the Wii when it first came out two years ago but there have not been any injuries listed as being associated with the Wii Fit itself and considering how fast the news media jumped all over that girl that the Wii Fit measured as 'obese,' I'd imagine they'd jump all over a story about people injuring themselves on Wii Fit even faster. In sum, the whole article is extremely misleading.
Wii console is selling crazy right now and leading the gaming industry with sales. That leads two major culprits who would leech out info like this and try to tarnish nintendo. ( Sony and Microsoft ) They might not be 100% behind all the negative things about nintendo but trust my words. They have everything to do with this. The only way to increase sales for ps3 and xbox is if the wii gets cripple. At least thats what i think.
