First placed beneath the spotlight of exposure at CommunicAsia 2008 (CMMA 08) in June and designed to provide easy access to messaging while on the move, the sleek and curvaceous KS360 offers itself up as a trendy and colourful handset that enables rapid messaging thanks to its full, slide-out QWERTY keyboard and associated array of communication features.
In terms of message versatility, the KS360 delivers access to handset standards such as SMS and IM, while also providing online user communication in the form of e-mail dispatch and receipt, as well as connection to online social networking destinations.
According to LG, the clean access provided by the KS360’s sliding QWERTY keyboard enables fingers to compose expeditious messaging, while the handset’s generous 2.4-inch display screen automatically switches to a landscape viewpoint for added convenience when the keyboard is deployed.
The KS360 also comes equipped with GSM, GPRS, and EDGE network functionality, touch-screen dialling, a 2.0 mega pixel digital camera, and an external microSD card slot for up to 4GB of added data storage.Other features delivered via the KS360 include Bluetooth 2.0, USB connectivity, polyphonic ringtones, MP3 and AAC audio playback, MPEG4 and H.263 video playback, and a WAP 2.0 Web browser.
The KS360 will be made available through carriers O2 and Orange on pre-paid or contract service deals when it arrives in the United Kingdom this coming August. LG’s trendy little handset will also be looking to bolster its soft-edged appeal via a selection of colour blends including a mixture of bold titanium and bright blue, soft pink and white, black and red, and black and silver.
