Vista undesirable as enterprise users continue downgrading to XP

it's simple. Gather statistics from biggest manufacturers on all sold PCs with Vista preinstalled. This would give you close number to reality....
I have been working in IT since 1978, and I have never seen such an abject crock of rubbish as Vista. My Dell XPS1330 came with it, without any XP option and I have had nothing but trouble.
I have re-installed the whole thing twice because of random freezes and bad data written to USBs (wasting days of my time) and making a cool notebook essentially useless.
Even small things go guts up - the Dell Bluetooth mouse gets lost when the notebook is in sleep mode - and the driver has to be re-installed. Is the bluetooth stack in Vista stable or what ?
Every time I go to turn it off, there's an upgrade waiting - maybe sixty or more since I purchased the notebook three montsh ago. Some of the patches take an eternity to install - and some cause the machine to hand on re-boot. Pure unadulterated garbage.
Vista is truly awful and I cannot wait to get rid of it forever.
Contrast this with a $400 Asus EeePC running Linux - which just works. Out of the box. No hassles whatsoever. Plug in a decent keyboard, mouse and an LCD screen and there you have it - something far more portable and more useful as a desktop than a machine costing 5 times as much.
Funny. I've installed Vista on over 20 Dell laptops and desktops, including old machines that are should be unusable according to the hype of how bad Vista is supposed to be.
We've had no troubles. I'm glad you're not troubleshooting my network, with a conclusion that based on a single sample on a specific machine, the entire OS is garbage and it has nothing to do with the hardware specific to your laptop.
Oh, and for the record, my primary computer is a Mac.
All I want to do is insert page numbers - simple task? Hu. With Vista I end up crying into my cup of tea, a nauseous crumpled heap, sick of trying to get used to this pile of junk. I want Windows XP back and I want it now. I am going crazy trying simply to word process my documents, my writing - simple ten-page stories are taking hours longer than before. Is it a plot to drive us all bonkers? Must be. Please please help me - help me get rid of this nightmare - Vista ? - the only vista I have is hell on earth unless I can retrieve what I had - XP wasn't perfect, but it worked for me and other writers. We don't want anything else. Simple editing menus and drop-down options thank you - none of this high-falutin spread across the task bar crap.... it's like the modern mania for useless 'options' - supermarket shelves full of hundreds of brands of toothpaste, all there to waste our time - time, the real currency. Down with Vista, down with Vista, altogether now...Down with Vista....

180mln???? buahahahaha... is there anyone to verify this info? They may have issued that many licenses, but how many of them were activated, or later downgraded to Vista?????
