While some computer game enthusiasts see money as no obstacle when shelling out big bucks for the latest graphics technology, there are still those eager to secure a pennywise bargain while also riding the GPU rollercoaster. Bearing that in mind, meet the GeForce 9400 GT, which NVIDIA claims will enable users to enjoy their gaming while revelling in “unsurpassed value.”
Not just bracketed for gaming performance, leading GPU manufacturer NVIDIA offers that the GeForce 9400 GT is capable of delivering high-definition (HD) video, enhanced visual effects, and also smoother Vista performance in return for an asking price as low as $59 USD.
Of course, for such a meagre investment, prospective consumers should hardly be surprised to note that the GeForce 9400 GT props up NVIDIA’s current Series 9 selection of GeForce platforms, which is topped out by the likes of the hulking GeForce GTX 280 and GeForce 9800 GX2.
However, NVIDIA is confident that the 9400 GT will not be out of place in amongst its more well-muscled stablemates.
“GeForce 9400 GT GPUs are a great solution for consumers to optimize the performance of their PC for everyday applications, such as getting online directions through Google Earth or Microsoft 3D maps, or surfing the web for photos using an interactive plug-in like PicLens,” points out Ujesh Desai, general manager of NVIDIA’s GeForce desktop products division.
Expect more hardware and technology unveilings in the wake of NVIDIA’s inaugural NVISION 08 conference in San Jose, California, which comes to a close today.
