This is such a bad idea. Just because you use SSL to encrypt data entries on a web page, doesn't mean you've made the service is secure. How many times do you hear about some half-wit employee losing their laptop, which just happened to have a full backup of all the company's customer data on it? More importantly, how many time *don't* you hear about it? What about simple web exploits that SSL can't protect against? Where's the real hard-line security effort? Post that information in your sales blurbs.
Sure, go right ahead and use this service... give everyone and anyone complete access to your home without them ever having to force their way in. You might as well just give any random person you see a copy of your house keys.
Banks, big retailers - you name it - none of them have been responsible, nor held accountable, for compromised customer data. So they don't put any effort beyond the 'SSL quote' towards security. Why should anyone assume this company is going to do any different.
