How come, in these studies, they lead you to assume these 'strangers' are adults? Why do they not break it down into other peers or adults?

From studies I have seen, this is blown way out of proportion. Many kids online are being contacted by other kids, not adults. But, adults do contact kids, we know that.

But it would be helpful, to put it into more perspective, if they broke it down into other peers, and adults.

To add to your article, I would also like to suggest a new web fitering and security solution, Livia Web Protection. Livia provides a layer of protection that safeguards families from online dangers while helping parents manage how their children use the Internet.

Built on industry-leading Web security technology from Websense, Inc. that safeguards more than 42 million employees and students worldwide, Livia protects children from adult and other undesirable content, while securing family computers from Web-based threats and cybercriminals.

Livia Web Protection delivers the most comprehensive, accurate Web protection available using the Websense database of more than 40 million Web sites, which is updated in real-time as new security threats are discovered.

There is only one true way to protect your childeren on line. It works at school and at home. That is to sign an internet usage policy agreement with your childeren (no matter the age) and use Intersceper by vision gateway to enforce this policy. It is a comprehensive device and software that gives actual real time warnings about inapropreate use - and it's easy to understand and use. If you contact George at prosolutions in arvada colorado he will connect you to this brilliant light and the end of this potentially dangerouse and dark world our childeren are so vulnerable in. Any good parent knows they must take evry step possible to protect our kids. How can we expect them to be safe any other way?
