If accessing your computer’s iTunes library while on-the-go is something you’d like to enjoy without having to wait for an ‘officially approved’ application or pander to Apple Inc. in any way, shape or form, then the award-winning team at Didiom might have just what you need.

Made all-the-more attractive because it’s absolutely free, the all-in-one Didiom application is compatible with more than 200 different mobile phone handsets and enables users to wirelessly access their entire iTunes library without ever having to physically connect with their computers.
New York-based Didiom has this week announced the beta launch of its “mobile music placeshifting” application, which, beyond connecting users to their iTunes collections, also delivers access to a pay-per-download music service that contains more than one million MP3 tracks.
Compatible with popular mobile devices including the likes of RIM’s BlackBerry smartphone and all handsets operating on Windows Mobile software, the newly unveiled beta will enable Didiom to thoroughly test its over-the-air service and user interface while honing their evolution through valuable user feedback.
“More and more music fans are tired of wasting valuable time sideloading music from their computer to their phone or iPod,” explained Ran Assaf, founder and CEO of Didiom.
“[With Didiom] we provide them with a new type of experience that lets them not only stream music from their computer to their handset over the air, but also to discover, bid for and share music in new and exciting ways.”
Interested mobile phone users can get the beta handset application by visiting Didiom’s official Web site, while a desktop application is also available for the streaming of music directly to a waiting phone handset.
Most individual song tracks offered up through the Didiom Marketplace are priced at $0.89 USD for a single download, and $1.39 USD for a dual download. Similarly, most store albums cost $9.99 USD for a single download and $12.99 USD for a dual download.
Originally founded in 2005, mobile media service provider Didiom was recently named the best in the branded mobile application category during the prestigious The One Show international awards event.
