Lol - I think this video is great. The kid obviously really wanted it. Good for him.

hmmm... 269.99 for a system who's only redeeming quality is a small set of accelerometers inside a plastic stick with a small IR cam in the front of it (aka wiimote).

OR... 299.99 for a system which outperforms the Wii in all categories. It plays DVD's, Divx, Xvid, photos, music, links with any windows PC, has the best multiplayer setup of any console, comfortable controllers, large amounts of storage space, More (and BETTER) games, has keyboard support, is capable of actually USING the high resolution provided by an HD tv, and comes with an HDMI and optical port.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the xbox 360 outperforms the Wii in EVERY way... EXCEPT for the controller (and built in wireless connectivity and browser, but that's what my comp is for).

You want to blow 269.99 on a tweaked gamecube with a fancy controller? Maybe play some low res golf or pokemon? Go for it...

Me? I'll be playing amazing games, and rentin/DL'ing HD movies on xbox live. Or maybe i'll watch some Blu-Ray movies on my PS3. All in glorious HD on both my 24' and 50' LCD's.

It's a great system for people who dont know how to use a controller, but once you get the hang of it.... it sucks pretty bad. Gets old FAST.

With Nintendo still pulling that demand exceeding supply crap that they pull EVERY year... i dont see why people even glance in their direction.

The Wii is innovative and kid friendly. The 360, although it is all of the things listed by the above poster, simply is not a family console.

@JoeJohnnyJimbo - The fact that you feel the need to get into a battle of the specs reflects that you probably just do not understand the appeal that the Wii has to it's audience.

Enjoy your games as much as you want - it sounds to me like you spend and awful lot of time gaming - but try not to down others for their choices.

After all, when you reflect on the hard facts - that the Wii is soundly trouncing both competitors and has been ever since day 1....despite repeatedly and increasingly inaccurately being labeled a 'trend', you might stop to realize that you've most likely benefited from the Wii even though you prefer the 360 - simply because your team is trying that much harder to get ahead. That means price cuts for 360s and more attempts to innovate - but of course this might not be the case depending on when you decided to get in bed with Microsoft's console; ergo you may harbor some bitterness; understood.

Price hasn't been a factor in my decision, and neither were sharper graphics. That's not innovative anymore - that's par for the course. When you used to play Kings Quest on a CGA x86 from Radio Shack, you appreciate more than graphics.
Further, suffice it to say that if I really wanted I could afford any or all 3 consoles - I'd rather save up and move out of my duplex though. I chose the Wii because it is the most innovative of all 3. If Sony had the most interesting console I'd have chosen it instead. From what I've seen, I am not missing much from either, and to be frank all 3 consoles have had rather lukewarm software so far. I'm no fanboy or brand loyalist - the Wii is simply good value for my dollar and changes the landscape of how we interact with our entertainment, and the other offerings aren't compelling enough. I *almost* got a PS3 when I heard about Bionic Commando I will admit.

Better graphics and higher Framerate != innovation. That's what this round of the console wars has resoundingly proven. However I guarantee you won't see any next gen console from here on in that do NOT have motion controls of some kind....

When it comes down to it, buy the console that best suits you. For kids and couples it seems the wii is it cause of the many people interaction feature. But when it comes down to killin some zombies or calling in an airstrike to get the objective you use the high graphic console.

man , that was sad.
It is a piece of plastic. useless without food or cheap electricity.
I would be ashamed to publish such a reaction as a video. Poor parents and poor kids.

to JoeJohnnyJimbo,
where do u get off, in case u havent noticed yet the Wii has outsold both the ps3 and xbox 360 in the holiday season so it is perfectly reasonable for demand to be higher then supply. I happen to have a Wii myself and i love it, so let me ask u this, how many friends do u actually hav outside ur gamer lifestyle? and is the 360 any fun to play while ur drunk? the answer to both of those questions is obviously no, so stick that in ur pipe and smoke it.

That Canadian kid shows future potential as a terrorist, did you see the rage in his eyes?
