Earlier this week The Tech Herald reported on the new Jet mobile phone, which maker Samsung confidently described as “smarter than a smartphone”. While that was clearly just a clever marketing line, the new iBrain FIT-IQ application from Brain Center America (BCA) aims to actively make smartphone users smarter.

More pointedly, iBrain FIT-IQ arrives as a new mobile version of Brain Center America’s NeuroActive Program, which promises to boost the IQs of smartphone adopters by placing a portable Brain Gym in the palm of their hands.
Offered up for Apple’s iconic iPhone smartphone handset and the non-telephonic iPod Touch, the brain-stretching exercises are labelled as a selection of fun and easy-to-use mobile workouts that will “sharpen cognitive skills and improve IQ”.
The iBrain FIT-IQ platform consists of 12 interactive brain-training exercises focusing on individual aspects such as IQ, memory, brain speed and 3D orientation – all of which have been specially created to enhance 12 essential brain functions.
“iBrain FIT-IQ is designed to fit any busy schedule and provide effective brain training anytime, anywhere – while commuting in a taxi or waiting for appointments,” enthused Stephane Bergeron, M.D., founder and CEO of Brain Center America. “iBrain FIT-IQ is making total mind-body fitness easier and more accessible than ever.”
Lauded as the world’s first mobile app to help improve brain performance, efficiency, and multitasking, Brain Center America contends that regular use of iBrain FIT-IQ is scientifically proven to help increase user IQ by at least five percent in just a matter of weeks.
In an attempt to lure prospective users towards a full download purchase, a three-exercise demo of iBrain FIT-IQ can be tried for free through Apple’s hugely popular App Store.
