What? Sleek, sexy AND economically viable? Image: Samsung.
Set be unleashed upon the UK market attached to an attractive starting price of 699 GBP, the new Samsung R620 ticks all of the above requirements while delivering convincing hardware specifications at a retail cost that doesn’t lean too far from budget-friendly but underpowered Netbook platforms.
Moreover, the base R620 is supported by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a healthy 4GBs of RAM, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics card, and a roomy 160GB hard disk drive.
Other core features include a 16-inch LCD display (1366 x 768), an integrated Blu-ray drive, HDMI output, four USB ports, an SDHC card reader, an Ethernet slot, and a rechargeable battery promising up to 4.5 hours of operation on a single charge.
If the basic list of contributing elements fails to light a multimedia fire beneath you, then you may be interested to note that Samsung’s R620 also comes with optional enhancements such as a Full HD display (1920 x 1080), a 500GB HDD, and more advanced graphics through the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650.
