It may look like a sassily fashionable clutch bag fresh from the catwalks of Milan, but what you’re looking at here is actually a new Hewlett-Packard portable computer augmented by the unmistakable influence of world-renowned designer Vivienne Tam and classic Chinese story “Butterfly Lovers”.

Revealed during the Tam Spring 2010 fashion show during New York’s Fashion Week at Bryant Park, the second-generation HP Vivienne Tam digital clutch arrives as another designer slice of transformative chic lifestyle that, according to Hewlett-Packard, marries fashion and technology.
“The new digital clutch design embodies the inspiration for my entire spring collection,” enthused Tam. “When women around the globe carry HP’s digital clutch and wear my clothes, I want them to feel independent and free, like butterflies.”
Tying in with the designer’s upcoming collection, the HP Vivienne Tam is expected to hit retail in the first quarter of 2010. HP has not yet divulged any concrete details regarding the computer’s price point or its technical specifications.
However, given its ultra-portable physical sizing, we’d hazard a guess at it being a fairly middle-of-the-road Netbook that, much like the original Vivienne Tam portable computer.
The original HP Vivienne Tam came with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor (N270), 1GB of RAM, 60GBs of hard drive storage, the Windows XP Home operating system, and a three-cell battery.
