Specifically, the rather sassy CLIQ will move into pre-sale on October 19 for those prospective buyers already attached to T-Mobile USA, while eager mobile users looking to become part of Motorola’s latest clique (get it?) will have access to the phone from November 02.
Pricing structure will see eligible T-Mobile customers shelling out $199.99 USD for the CLIQ, which comes attached to a mandatory two-year service agreement. T-Mobile’s voice plans start at $29.99 USD per month, while qualifying data plans start at $24.99 USD per month.
Beyond being Motorola’s first mobile phone to carry the increasingly popular Google-backed Android operating system, the CLIQ also comes with the proprietary MOTOBLUR communication management and integration solution for juggling everything from e-mail and messaging through to photos and social network services.
In terms of more standard-issue aspects attached to the CLIQ, the handset offers a 3.1-inch HVGA touch-screen display, a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, a 5.0 mega pixel camera with auto focus and video capture, a pre-installed 2GB microSD memory card, and support for expansion up to 32GBs.
Bundled features and services include an on-board music player with Amazon store compatibility, Shazam, iMeem Mobile, AccuWeather, MySpace Mobile, Quickoffice, TeleNav GPS Navigator, Google Maps with Street View, YouTube, and Picasa.
