Ontario-based BlackBerry maker Research in Motion (RIM) has confirmed its network has suffered yet another service glitch affecting the online accessibility of certain smartphone customers.

According to an e-mailed statement released by Research in Motion, its engineers are presently working to rectify the problem, which follows a similar RIM network shortfall suffered late last week by BlackBerry owners in and around the San Francisco area of California.
Although RIM has thus far been somewhat vague in terms of outlining exactly where in “the Americas’” its BlackBerry customers are experiencing service delays, a report posted by The Wall Street Journal indicates that customers in China, South Korea, Australia, Taiwan, India and Singapore are also reporting disruptive network issues.
