Seeing as we provided you with a breakdown of exactly what Microsoft is offering in its new Windows Mobile update (version 6.5.3), we thought it best to detail the first handset out of the gate that will be carrying the overhauled operating system.
The \'peak\' of business performance? Ahem. Image: Sony Ericsson.
So, meet the Aspen (which is also know in some circles as the ‘Faith’), a distinctly BlackBerry-esque business phone that’s also the latest entrant to Sony Ericsson’s eco-friendly GreenHeart product portfolio.
While equipped with a rich user interface and powerful productivity tools, the Aspen also comes ready for social networking and multimedia thanks to a full QWERTY keyboard, a one-click Web browser, quick online access to the likes of Facebook, MySpace and Google Maps, and a 3.2 mega pixel camera.
Other contributing features and functions aboard the Aspen include a 2.4-inch QVGA display (240 x 320) with touch-screen capabilities, GSM/EDGE, Wi-Fi connectivity, A-GPS, stereo Bluetooth, memory expansion up to 16GBs via microSD, PlayNow media support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Set to arrive at some point during 2010’s second quarter, the Aspen handset will be available in colour choices of either black or silver.
