If you’re not yet sick to the back teeth of all the tablet-shaped shenanigans presently unfolding in the technology sector, then here’s another touch-screen portable computer for you to mull over while fighting off the clawing temptation of Apple’s iPad.

More pointedly, the tablet spotlight is presently shining on computer manufacturing titan Dell regarding supposedly leaked details connected to its mysterious ‘Streak’ device – which is also known as the Dell Mini 5.
According to the diligent tech watchers over at Engadget, the Streak will come equipped with a five-inch capacitive touch WVGA display, a screen resolution of 800 x 480, along with a solid 5.0 mega-pixel camera with flash and autofocus, and also a front-facing VGA camera for video capture.
Other contributing features rumoured to be supported by the Streak include in-depth personalisation, a specific Amazon Kindle app for hosting eBook content, along with access to Amazon’s MP3 store and Video On Demand streaming service.
Although Dell has not yet issued an official launch date or an accompanying price point for the Streak, the industry heavyweight has said the device will be powered by the Android operating system and will offer high-speed connectivity through 3G.
