Alien video footage is 'best proof' of galactic visitation

Alien invader or galactic tourist? Or shoddy publicity stunt? Hmmm. Image: YouTube.

Described as “the best proof we have that we are indeed being visited by aliens”, UFO enthusiast Michael Cohen has this week unveiled a video clip that purportedly shows an alien creature watching humans from afar.

The clip, which you can view for yourself by clicking below, was unwittingly captured by nameless and faceless tourists in Brazil who stopped to film some locals while traipsing through the Amazon Rainforest.

“It is believed this footage was taken by British tourists and then handed over to U.S. secret agents,” claims Cohen. “These agents had an information-sharing agreement with the Brazilian government and [the video] was passed on from there, to where it was leaked.”

Call us skeptical, but we’re calling ‘BS’ on this one, not least because Mr. Cohen will reportedly assume the role of a ‘ufologist’ in an upcoming fictional Hollywood movie about alien visitation—which will include footage from various ‘real-world’ sightings, including the footage he’s touting as real here.

According to Cohen, sightings such as these apparently represent “a message of hope” being delivered to mankind by our elusive bug-eyed and dome-headed galactic friends.

That’s all well and good, but we can’t help but wonder why these seemingly camera-shy aliens are always ‘seen’ from distances that prevent ‘fortuitously placed’ cameras from capturing them with anything approaching irrefutable clarity.

But, hey, that’s just us.
