Given that it’s shifted some 60 million copies on mobile devices, chances are you have a passing knowledge of the gaming phenomenon that is Angry Birds.
But if you’ve not yet succumbed to the physics-based addiction coursing through the veins of Rovio’s downloadable monster, you may be wondering what all the fuss is about.
Well wonder no more, because the goodly folk over at electronics retailer Currys are giving it away on PC—yes, giving it away—via a limited availability promotion.
So, if you’re keen to launch a variety of weaponised birds at hordes of thieving swine hidden within collapsible structures, all you need do is sign up to Currys’ AppUp Centre (powered by Intel), which provides one-stop shopping for software applications.
The promotional offer will remain open until March or until 15,000 copies have been downloaded (whichever comes first). Sadly, the offer is only open to UK residents.
All is not lost, however, as Angry Birds can be snapped up for nada by anyone equipped with a mobile device powered by Google’s Android operating system.
