With your iPhone 4 suitable protected by Griffin’s Survivor protection case, chances are you’ll want said smartphone to be running on optimal software.
If so, good news abounds as the boffins at Apple Inc. have just released version 4.2.6 of the iOS mobile operating system for those equipped with Verizon’s recently launched CDMA iPhone 4.
Although far from being a major update, version 4.2.6 fixes a bug “to ensure Personal Hotspot data usage is accurately reported (for Verizon phones),” according to Apple’s notes.
The patch was initially made available in January for review units, and succeeds the existing 4.2.5 platform available on the CDMA iPhone.
