With the likes of Best Buy, Staples and Walmart highlighted yesterday, we thought you'd like to see what Apple has up its sleeve for pennywise consumers now that the Thanksgiving turkey has been gobbled and the Black Friday rush has officially begun.

More pointedly, if you're looking to save a little cash while making the transitional leap from the world of 'financially accessible' Windows PCs to Apple's 'reassuringly expensive' systems, now is certainly the time do so.

On offer for today only, prospective Apple buyers can benefit from a $101 USD reduction applied to several configurations of iMac, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air computers, all with starting prices of $1,098 USD (except the 13-inch MacBook Air, which costs $1,198 USD).

Meanwhile, over on the ultra-mobile front, Apple is also lopping up to $41 USD off its iPad tablet and also its non-telephonic iPod Touch, with the iPad shifted to $458 USD, and the iPod Touch reduced to $208 USD.

Other Apple products affected by Black Friday's magic wand include the new iPod Nano, which is now up to $21 USD cheaper, and $5.00 USD off accessories such as the Apple iPad Case, the Apple iPad Camera, the Apple Wireless Keyboard, and the Apple Magic Trackpad.
