Furthering its efforts to bring console-exclusive content to the PlayStation 3 platform, Sony Computer Entertainment has this week announced a special Assassin’s Creed partnership with software publisher Ubisoft.

According to the deal, PlayStation 3 owners opting to purchase from the initial print run Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will also receive a bonus copy of the original award-winning Assassin’s Creed on the same Blu-ray disc.

Openly trumpeting both games, Ubisoft said that while Revelations sees recent series hero Ezio tracing the footsteps of original master assassin Altair, the addition of Assassin’s Creed will allow gamers to experience (or revisit) Altair’s adventure first-hand.

Any Xbox 360 owners currently fuming at being left out can at least take a small internal victory from the following: Just Push Start is claiming that the bundled original version of Assassin’s Creed will NOT include PlayStation 3 Trophy support.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, which is the fourth home console iteration in Ubisoft’s history-laden sci-fi series, is set to hit retail on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Games for Windows on November 15.
