Google shows Android popularity via fancy global graphics

Ordinarily, when tech heavyweights want to holler from the rooftops regarding the success of their products, they tend to trot out yawn-inducing sales figures, adoption rates and—if they’re feeling particularly imaginative—the occasional fancy pie chart.
However, Google Inc. boasts a little more imagination than many of its rivals, which is why we here at The Tech Herald thought we’d draw your attention to its graphics-driven illustration of the Android operating system’s proliferation.
We’ve lost count of how many times we’ve typed “Google’s increasingly popular Android OS” in the last 18 months, and now we finally have some conclusive proof to back-up our constant trumpeting.
