In more LG news, a new smartphone device carrying the Korean manufacturer’s branding has been spotted crossing the snowy wilds of the Internet during the festive period.
Although scant little is known about the device at this juncture, it’s supposedly called the LG Fantasy and will be powered by version 7.5 of Microsoft’s acclaimed Windows Phone software (a.k.a. Mango).
The leaked photo (above) was initially uncovered by diligent Net watchers over at the XDA Developers Forum and apparently showcases a handset with a sassy 4.0-inch IPS display.
Other fixtures and fittings likely to be crammed into the Fantasy include a second-generation 1GHz processor, 8GBs of internal data storage, a rear-facing 8.0 mega-pixel camera, and a front-facing 1.3 mega-pixel camera.
If the initial leak post is accurate, the Fantasy is heading for a Q1 2012 launch and should be thrust into the media spotlight during January’s upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
