Music video scandal: Sasha Grey murdered by suicidal Eminem

Rapper Eminem is back in the news this week after his latest controversial music video for ‘Space Bound’ incited the wrath of anti-violence groups in the United Kingdom.

During the promo in question, viewers are presented with images of the award-winning artist exploring seemingly schizophrenic fantasies in which he strangles and murders his girlfriend, who’s played by popular pornography star and crossover actress Sasha Grey.

The video also includes a sequence where Eminem’s character places the barrel of a powerful handgun beneath his chin before then proceeding to blow the back of his head out—to the gory accompaniment of gushing blood.

Given the content in question, you may not feign surprise upon learning that activist groups such as Mothers Against Violence are positively livid regarding the video and its messages.

“People who do this are really quite evil,” commented a spokesperson for Mothers Against Violence in a Daily Mirror report. “Children are influenced by the things they see. If we feed violence, it becomes strong. Like an addiction.”

“It’s all about the money with these videos,” the group added. “Enimem isn’t thinking about the families affected. It’s selfish—it comes to a point when selfishness becomes evil.”

Space Bound, which can be viewed by clicking below (watch at your own risk), is the fourth single plucked from Eminem’s latest album Recovery.
