Groundbreaking British new media company New Media Age (NMA) has revamped its Web site to offer readers a more powerful search functionality and better categorisation of subjects.
New Media Age first began its life in 1995 and has gone on to become the online 'Bible' for entrepreneurs using or seeking to use interactive media to promote their businesses.
Described in a statement as in a perpetual beta stage, the new site modifications include better categorisation of subjects with the promise of further tools to come to help readers analyse data provided by the magazine.
"Content has been broken down into News, Opinion and Features to more closely reflect the interests of readers," said the NMA's Justin Pearse in a Web statement.
"Our Data section is where you’ll find all our coverage of industry research, statistics and trends to help run your business better," he added. "Content is now more intuitively categorised and this section will evolve to provide tools to help you better analyse the data held on the site."
Other new Web site goodies the team promises to introduce during the upcoming months include, ad campaigns from Ad Watch, integrated Twitter feeds, blogging from the New Media Age editorial team and coverage of selected industry figures.
One of the current categories strengthened by the update is Jobs, which will now include information and advice as well as the job postings themselves.
