If you’ve been suffering sleepless nights wondering what the next-generation Eee Pad Transformer tablet will look like, sleep well and wonder no more… because Chinese tech site NCCC claims to have unearthed a pre-launch snap of said device.

Thought to be the successor to ASUSTeK’s existing Transformer Prime, the svelte system pictured here—albeit from the rear—apparently comes with a super svelte physical profile, front and rear cameras, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen.

NCCC’s leaked image comes alongside the discovery of a QuieTek certification document that reveals the new tablet computer platform’s codename to be ‘TF300T’.

Prior model names added to the Eee Pad family include, TF101 for the original Transformer, and TF201 for the Transformer Prime.

Although other specifications for the device have not been divulged, industry watchers suspect the new Transformer will be a more consumer friendly (read: cheaper and less capable) version of its Prime predecessor.

Expect to learn more about the next-gen Transformer during this month’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona.

A front shot of the TF300T can be seen via this safe and direct NCCC link.
