If you’re a tech-savvy fan of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and want all the sport’s latest flesh pummelling and teeth spitting streamed directly to your television via a set-top entertainment box, the good folks over at Roku have just what you need.

More pointedly, streaming specialist Roku has announced a multiyear content deal with the UFC organisation, through which it will operate a dedicated channel providing user access to all live UFC pay-per-view bouts, an archive of classic fights, countdowns, insider infotainment and much more.

And, if you’re looking to “get your fight on” through Roku’s UFC service, you can look forward to live pay-per-view streaming of the upcoming light heavyweight bout between Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson and ‘Suga’ Rashad Evans on May 29.

According to Saratoga-based Roku, the viewing of such major events will come attached to a fee of $44.99 USD, which watching archived fights will be priced at $1.99 USD. These costs are additional to the $79.99 USD required to secure the Roku set-top box.

Other premium services available to Roku owners include Netflix, Amazon Video on Demand, Major League Baseball via MLB.TV, basketball highlights with NBA Game Time, the Midwest Cage Championship, Drive-in Classics, Kung-Fu Theater and Moonlight Movies.
