Mulling over the possibility of attending Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) but have been holding off on a ticket purchase until Apple pads out this year’s content where sessions and labs are concerned? Wait no longer…

According to Apple, WWDC 2010 will include more than 100 technical sessions and hands-on lab opportunities that will allow attendees to learn and work with Apple engineers.

These sessions will delve into advanced development and design techniques that provide information on how to harness “the revolutionary technologies in iPhone OS” and apply them to app creation.

All of the sessions will be spread across five focal points of interest, which are Application Frameworks, Core OS, Developer Tools, Graphics and Media, and Internet and Web.

Other sessions will centre on Mac OS X development, the latest iPhone OS platform, and, of course, you should expect to see Apple roll out the new fourth-generation iPhone handset (no doubt to sarcastic cheers), which is pegged for a June 22 launch.

The 2010 iteration of the uber popular conference is to be held in San Francisco’s sprawling Moscone Center between June 07 and June 11, and tickets are priced at a pocket-busting $1,599 USD. Of course, that won’t stop them selling like hot cakes as the international tech industry rushes to California for five days of all things Apple.

We suggest moving quickly if you want to attend WWDC 2010, not least because the last two events sold out fairly pronto and purchasing is likely to be rabid given that Apple has announced its line-up of sessions and labs four weeks later than usual.
