Star Fox 64 3D set to hit UK shores on Sept. 9

With gaming fans already looking forward to the revamped 3D arrival of classic adventure The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Nintendo has now announced the release date for its similarly tweaked Star Fox 64.
Star Fox 64 3D will officially arrive on UK shores this coming September 9, which means gamers in Blighty will get their clammy little paws on the sci-fi action title just a few days after their American cousins (September 7).
Beyond boasting improved graphics and increased visual depth thanks to the inclusion of stereoscopic 3D, the new version of Nintendo’s 1997 airborne classic will include tilt-based Arwing controls and even a multiplayer opponent camera.
Star Fox 64 3D will be released in Nintendo’s home market of Japan on July 17.
