Don't do it, Shally! Image: Fox/YouTube.

Okay, while we here at The Tech Herald know April Fool’s day is long gone, when we stumbled across the following video clip earlier this morning we simply thought it too amusingly pertinent to ignore.

It involves regional Fox news presenter Raoul Martinez (and much of the show’s floor staff) who took great pleasure in preying on the technophobe gullibility of doe-eyed co-presenter Shally Zomorodi.

Without wishing to spoil the moment ahead of time, we’d just like to say… in Ms. Zomorodi’s defence… that there are probably great sways of naïve consumers who’d believe cutting-edge smartphones and tablet computers are capable of such ludicrous feats.

And, when bundled up in a credence-lending news presentation that references scientific wizardry and seemingly shows the technology in action, it’s perhaps not difficult to see why this particular Fool was so easy to secure.
