Video: Ford Fiesta fools caught in black ice ballet

While it’s perhaps a tad cruel to focus on the misfortune of others for little other reason than the entertainment of our readership, we couldn’t help ourselves with this clip.

If you don’t already know, Britain is currently in the unremitting grip of its worst and coldest winter in almost a century. And, with record snowfall and temperatures plummeting all across the nation, an unlucky Ford Fiesta was recently captured on camera as its driver foolishly attempted to navigate a patch of black ice on the quiet streets of Paignton.

A bad idea from the off, both driver and (unfortunate) passenger soon discovered that a modest hatchback is no match for Mother Nature where frozen roads are concerned – the fact that the clip is set to Bolero is just icing on the humorous cake. Enjoy.
