Another week, another bout of (Chinese) whispers regarding the much talked about iPad3 and what gagdet titan Apple will or won’t squeeze into its upcoming tablet computer.
This Monday we bring you news of a thoroughly unsubstantiated rumor offered up by three people closely linked with the device but willing only to speak of it from behind the veil of anonymity. How convenient.
According to a Bloomberg report, Apple’s manufacturing partners in Asia are already busy churning out the iPad3, which will launch in March and boast an enhanced quad-core processor, improved graphics and compatibility with Long Term Evolution networks (4G).
The iPad3 will also apparently sport a new improved touch-screen display capable of producing resolution quality similar to that of printed material, according to one of the aforementioned insiders.
In support of the above tidbits, a recent Morgan Stanley report also claims the iPad3 will support 3G and 4G networks, will be slimmer than its predecessor, and its quad-core chip is being produced by mobile specialist Qualcomm.
Maintaining its well-documented stance of silence where the media is concerned, Apple has refused to comment on what it classes as rumor and speculation.
