Having successfully tempted the pockets of technology lovers in the United States, the iPhone 4S smartphone is now set to expand its reach around the gadget-buying world.

Specifically, Cupertino-based Apple Inc. has this week confirmed that expectant consumers across regions of Asia, Europe and Central America will have access to the iPhone 4S from November 11.

Countries where the overhauled handset device will be available include, Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, El Salvador, Greece (good luck selling it there, Apple), Guatemala, Hong Kong, Malta, Montenegro, New Zealand, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania and South Korea.

According to Apple, prospective buyers will be able to pre-order the iPhone 4S from Friday, November 4, except those located in Albania, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malta, Montenegro and Panama.

With a total of 70 countries expected to be selling the iPhone 4S before the close of 2011, it looks likely that the handset’s initial sales momentum is set to increase.

More than four million units of the new smartphone were snapped up inside just three days as consumers were drawn by its dual-core A5 processor, 8.0 mega-pixel camera, and voice-recognition technology.
