A pair of spammers who failed to show up in court to face charges of spewing out masses of junk e-mail to registered members of popular social network MySpace have today been slapped with a record legal penalty that amounts to paying MySpace a total of $234 million USD in damages.

Not all browsers are created equal. As users, we probably have our favourite browser – but webmasters do not have that luxury – their sites should work with all the mainstream browsers. While there are many browsers in existence, four of the best known and most used are Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, Mozilla’s Firefox, Apple’s Safari, and Opera. The latter three function, from a webmaster’s viewpoint, fairly similarly. Internet Explorer though, despite many improvements in version 7, still lags behind somewhat. ... more
